Trump's Granddaughter Gets Professional Guidance from Tiger Woods Before Professional Golf Debut
The rising star maintains impressive social media presence
The young golfer can count on numerous prominent supporters when she makes her professional golf debut this Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who is connected to a former US president, was granted a sponsor's invitation to compete at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, operates several golf courses and often matches against Kai.
"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we have competitive games," she mentioned.
The golfer shared that Trump, who cannot attend, advised her: "Simply avoid anxiety."
"He essentially suggested to play and enjoy myself," she added.
"To me, he's just a regular grandfather. He won't be there this weekend. He's busy with running the country, so he's somewhat preoccupied."
Being non-professional, Kai has played in just three tournaments recently and holds the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association standings.
Yet she's able to receive tips from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with Kai's mother.
"He represents the greatest golfer globally," the young golfer said.
"And he's a superior person. He suggested me to compete, enjoy myself, adapting to whatever happens."
Kai will face several the biggest names in professional golf at the Annika, featuring world number two Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
The LPGA commented that involving Kai brings golf to different demographics, especially reaching the next generation.
Kai has millions of followers and just introduced an exclusive fashion and living label.
The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
