Two more people have been arrested related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

These detentions follow a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Police detained a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people injured by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was isolated and not considered an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
